Because this is how the 49ers are built. They run the ball a ton, especially to the perimeter.
Also, Murray isn't exactly Emmitt Smith.
Didn't need the line to open them as good as SF is opening them, Murray was averaging 4.2 YPC and Taysom averaged 12.5 YPC (he still averaged 7.3 YPC even if you take out his 28 yard run).Two things can be true:
1. We should have ran the ball more.
2. The O Line that showed up for us Sunday would have NOT been as great opening holes consistently for our running backs like the 49ers are doing for there's.
