I've been waiting for this game since before the 360's launch.

I hear the pc version of this game is going to be DX10 only.

This is good news for Visa users(who also have a dx10 capable card) because games that are dx10 will look and perform a lot better than those dx9 games that add in dx10 elements here in there. Dx10 translates into poor performance when it tries to accomodate DX9 at the same time.

But Alan Wake should be outstanding on PC being DX10 only. Dx9 elements will not be lagging it and they'll really be able to adds a ton of nice dx10 eye candy without worrying about performance hits.

IMHO, PC users will only see the true power of DX10 when it is a dx10 only game.

I just added a lot to my rig, now sporting 8800gtx sli along with vista 64 so I am officially crysis, UT3, GOW, Huxley and Alan Wake ready.

Oh, but don't ask my to be able to play any pc game 3 years old. Most likely won't be able to do it with such new hardware.

Can't see the videos here @ work, but definitely sounds interesting... Almost like a true-to-life RPG.

Hate to say it, but I agree with anita. When has a game ever turned out good after this much turmoil and delay? Plus, there's no way possible to live up to the hype after all this time.
