Correct they werent, but HE knows camaras are EVERYWHERE. He has to be smarter than that and his so called friends/security.

He was in a casino. He knew there were cameras. He made a stupid mistake. That’s what people do, they make mistakes. Some make mistakes to a small degree, big degree, and everywhere in between. He will do whatever it is necessary to make this go away, like hiring the high priced lawyer he has already. Look, I don’t know how well some of you have walked a straight path in life, but some of us have made some really stupid mistakes, and the most important thing is to get yourself out of the situations to the best of your abilities, and try to do better. I will not throw the book at AK41.

Pretty sure if you were in AK41’s shoes and had money, while being a high profile athlete, then you would do the same. I don’t throw stones at glass houses. I was once a young Buck who did stupid stuff way worse than this. Fortunately for me, camera phones/surveillance cameras were not really a thing back then.

I think you'd have to nearly beat someone to death, kill someone or do even worse to someone to do "stupid stuff way worse" than what videos show Kamara and the people with him did, and then later bragged about and celebrated doing.

What happened wasn't just a run of the mill fight between drunken teenagers at a high school dance or between drunken young adults at a nightclub. Kamara is 27 or 28 years old. Regardless of who started what, it was a serious and severe assault.

From the video I saw he's guilty. I don't care if he plays for our team. You don't do that. No need in what happened. He gets what he gets. Maybe he will learn from this and get some act right in him. Time to move on

The first 15 seconds of the video I quoted showed Kamara's friend throwing the first punch which makes the dude stumble over and then he proceeds to get beaten senseless without ever even being able to defend himself.

But ya know...victim blamers.

Most of us makes mistakes but I bet most of us don't beat the heck out of a person to near death. But I am not here to be the judge and jury to Kamara. I let the court deal with it.

The self-defence excuse might be valid for the initial incident where Kamara strikes the man in the elevator after being pushed. A great lawyer might even extend reasonable doubt to include when he gives chase and then pushes the man into the wall. In extremis - he might even get away with it up to the point where he throws the initial punch which knocks the man to the ground....

However, The following two blows where the man is on the ground, being stamped on and completely defenceless...that's not self-defence that's plain assault. There maybe some legal trick to say Kamara was overtaken by panic for his life and could not be expected to suddenly stop etc but even so, I don't think anyone can complain if Kamara gets a season-long ban for that...plus whatever judgement the courts throw at him. Whether the team should stand by him is a matter of debate.

Who the hell did the stamping? I'm guessing that disgusting human being did most of the damage, which I am sure will be referenced in any Kamara's defence during the civil trial for damages. Most of the victim's more severe injuries seem to be on the right side of his face. Kamara hit him on the left side. (Not sure about the initial blow in the lift or the slam into the wall). Edit: When Kamara throws the man into the wall it impacts on the left side of his face.

It seems abhorrent that the person doing the stamping doesn't seem to be named (and presumably not charged) on any of the court documents online. Anyone know why this is...I'm guessing this person isn't an NFL player and doesn't have enough money to be worth suing.

Folks need to face reality.

Williams and Miller will carry the team at RB in 2023. Taysom Hill will have better stats than AK41. Benjamin may end being a contributor. Kamara will have minimal stats due to missing many games.

It could of been. One simple kick to the head would of been fatal . I really don't understand why you downplay it as some simple mistake. It could of been serious. The victim may need to take some ofthe blame too. But you see them bragging about it in the limo.
