Hey k not going to pretend like I read the above messages, but you got to think he will be back pretty quick. With Roby coming in I think we can manage things. The one resounding thing is the ability to pressure up front, so if we continue that, we will be able to weather the storm for this upcoming game.

I think we are a little too sensitive to our depth here and we need to have faith. This team has confidence. The boys will step in, it’s all about mental focus and confidence, got to think we step in next week and shut things down.

The Roby trade makes a lot more sense now.

Id honestly rather him rest a few weeks and return

Lattimore just needs to toughen up. Ronnie Lott amputated his little finger rather than have surgery and miss playing time :hihi:

I jest, I jest! Wishing Latt a speedy recovery, and Eric Mc Coy as well.

With Carolina, NE, Washington? I think our next three if there’s ever a stretch to lose a few weeks this is it. Aside from McLaurin none of those teams have WRs that can flat out torch us, plus Washington may not have a QB.

It's a long season, and the defense looks well coached and with solid depth. Adebo proved he's a gamer, Trufant looked like solid depth, and as i mentioned in my thread these early games are like glorified pre-season games that count. Better to get injuries now, work through them, and develop guys than later in the season. Also keep in mind Bradley Roby makes his debut next week.

OAN Payton Turner will get good work in place of Davenport.
