Lawsuit against Reggie head for failure? (1 Viewer)

Actually, it appears he does have a case. However, he won't reveal it through the legal process since it could incriminate him.(op)

If this were the Mafia, it'd be called a shakedown.

Sorry Sniper Wolf. It still means that he does not have a case.

Reggie didn't sign anything and they don't have any written or vebal agreement with Reggie stating his guilt. You cannot convict a person on just word of mouth.

Besides agents give star ball players "gifts" all the time. They also give colleges and universities donations from aka "friends of the university" in order to pursaude these players to sign with them once they come out.

Sounds like Bush knows how the game is played and played it right along with everyone else.

Besides, who told these guys to give Bush and his family anything? No one, they did it on their own. So it's a gift.

A source close to the Lake v. Bush lawsuit tells us that Lloyd Lake left his deposition on Tuesday because he was "intimidated" by private security personnel that Bush's legal team had brought to the session.

Any excuse to duck out of actually going to court or giving any statements I guess.

He is going to milk this for all he can before losing to Bush in civil court and fading to nothingness.

Sarcasm is tough to detect on the net, isn't it?

That's what it looks like. It's sad. It looks like he did get played, but when you do underhanded things to make money, sometimes you get taken. I still haven't seen where Reggie himself was involved, only his family.

if anyone saw the real sports on hbo about this. it shows reggie is guilty. the guy has recording of reggie father saying you will get your money. this guys partner settled for 200 thousand only problem is he signed a confidentiality agreement. he cannot help this other guy. what is funy is reggie is shafting this guy for 300 thousand. all the guy said is he wants his money back. the house they got reggie parents has a cement slab with reggie's parents names n it lol and has evidence to back it up. this guys other partner had stronger evidence thats why they settled but this guy hasnt got a paper trail on reggie jut voice conversations.
Supposedly, Reggie settled with the partner (who is the one with the money who bought the house). My impression is that Lake is ticked that he did not get any $$$ out of the settlement. Think about it, where would an ex-con like Lake get that kind of $$$? Maybe that is why he does not want to turn over evidence as it may incriminate him showing how he did get the $$$. Basically Reggie got hooked up with the wrong gang. He should have just stuck with the boosters like other college stars do.
