When did we leave Korea?

I could not agree more -- that is one of the best written summaries of the situation I have ever read. If Hagel considers running for President he just upped his political cache with me (barring any skeletons in the closet).

Good read.

Although I disagreed with some of the finer points (not being able to impose a democracy on any nation state--the United States was successful in supplanting democracies in Japan in Germany post WWII), and of course, the "Peace with Honor" tag conjures up images of Nixon's policy of actually waging more war and doing the same before actually pulling out...but a pretty good assessment.
