It's 100% fact he's gone. After his snapchat and twitter rant acting like a fool he's gone. I wish our roster was in better shape so we could send him to Cleveland for a 6th and 7th.

His value right now is higher because he is still under his rookie contract. Teams don't have to pay him a lot money for another year and can keep him for another if they decide to exercise his fifth year option. If other teams do decide to let him go, it wouldn't cost them any. Reason why trade in the NFL is rare is because of the contract players have with their current team. Keeping Cooks another year would only gives us no better than a third or fourth pick for next year.
