Line moved to straight 3 points instead of 3.5.

Is that because of betting trends ? Or is this because of Watson and Kirkwood ? (Not sure they would move a line )

That .5 is putting the majority of money on the Rams from what I’ve read.

It’s been there for a few days in most places.

Read an article that said Rams are getting the most money at places which had 3.5, but Saints are getting the majority at 3.

I live In Vegas. If a line moves last minute could be for a number of reasons. Someone can actually move the line on their own by betting a ton of money on one team. Floyd Mayweather is notorious for that. Also most lines move once it gets closer to game time as well. I wouldn’t read to much into it.

Just means the betting money is more on the Rams at 3.5 than the Saints but not by a whole lot since it hasn't fluctuated much. Obviously at 3 the house wants to encourage people to bet the Saints to even up the books.

I can tell you right now the line moved to 3 Wednesday. If we win by 3 the books don't make much on this game. Most bettors will be betting on game day. Saints - 4 and - 6 would be a good bet also as you would be getting +115 and +130.

It moved because the Rams are getting slammed and overhyped.

This line should have been at 3 by last Monday with how much action LA was getting but Vegas was content to keep giving the hook to Rams backers all week. Rams are also getting a lot of ML action.

What’s that tell you?

That I don't know how betting works.

Well home field advantage is 3 points but I would think that dome home field advantage in the championship should be worth 5 minimum!

?

As my brother, an old casino pit boss observed, "What? You think they bought all those marble palaces with the money they made from the buffet that they comp anyway?" :hihi:
