Compensatory picks have been terrible for the league. A few teams know how to game the system, more power to them, but it actually encourages teams not to sign free agents. They should do away with the 32 compensatory picks and add the 8th round back to the draft.

How does Suh not count?

Edit: Never mind. I see it's because he was released by his former team, same reason Coleman doesn't count for us. I'm calling BS on that, though. A free agent is a free agent.
