Quick Question

The two stadiums are less than an hour apart from each other

When the Ravens play at the Commanders or vice versa is it treated like an away game, with a team hotel, they all arrive at the stadium on the team bus?

Or is it like a home game, you can stay at home just be at the stadium at this time?

Good question. I guess depends on whether the coach wants do the whole meet in the hotel the day of the game. Although, you're talking about an hour drive from northern Virginia to Baltimore (most players live in Northern Virginia like most players live in Kenner and not New Orleans). However, the two cities treat each other like foreigners. People from Baltimore do not consider themselves a part of the "DMV" and they don't go back and forth like that.

I suspect that the DC, Baltimore, Philly, and NY teams could charter an Amtrak train to get to the area and then a bus from the train station to the stadium, but that's just a guess.
I know for sure Philly charters a train for Washington away games as I saw some video coverage of it once.

As for the OPs question, many teams stay at a team hotel for home games too so it's not much different as I see it.
