Looking for a netbook- need some advice (1 Viewer)

Anyone have some advice on finding a good netbook, what should I look for?

They all seem to have the same processor and HD size. I see some have windows 7, is that something I should go for or avoid? I'd like one with good battery life, but will mostly just browse the Internet, and look at spreadsheets.

My lady got one this summer...It is critical that you go type on one...Some of the netbook keyboards are awful...

You can't go wrong with an HP Mini or an Asus EeePC if a netbook is what you're looking for.

8 am, will be $180 somethign tomrrow my brother says. It's what hes looking at for christmas. 6 hour battery life and windows xp.

Thats for the advice- I've just customized the hp mini 311, can go up to 3gb ram on that one- and a 320 gb HD...but really it costs more than some laptops. Will keep shopping around, might check out one of the cheaper black friday deals and use that for a year or so then hand it down.
