Loomis opens up a bit more about Coaches pulling out of search (105 Viewers)

I'm so glad this site is back to being BashLoomisReport.com. I was really getting tired of actually talking about football with talk of offensive schemes, defensive schemes, what players fit the scheme, players in the draft, etc. I'm glad we can get back to acting like mean girls which is what this site is about afterall.

We even got a gratuitous out of context keep chopping wood reference. I really missed reading those in every other post because they were so funny.

I want a new GM too, but Loomis isn't going anywhere for at least a few years. Can we talk about football in the interim?
Sometimes you gotta keep the main thing, the main thing: Mick. The only reason there was a break is because the KM higher, but now let's get back to the main thing.

It's ridiculous. There was some Loomis bashing in the Jeanty vs Warren thread which was a decent thread for most of the discussion. These clowns on here can't wait to find one little thing to nit pick about even after what has been a great offseason up to this point. He said what everyone already knows, people pull out before being "passed over" so that it looks better for them. We know this and he said it out loud. It's not a big deal.

It's awful. Same people, complaining and complaining and complaining, as if that's going to do something, then get mad when you yourself aren't joining in on the complaining.

"Mean girls" indeed.

I'm going to start putting some of these clowns on ignore. It's not worth reading the trash they post on most threads.

Seriously man, if this board is going to turn back into BashLoomisReport.com, I'm going to take a long break. I want a new GM too, but it's pointless to constantly birch about Loomis when he's not going anywhere for at least this year. I don't like the idea of keeping Carr or restructuring Carr to be players in free agency either. But, lets let it play out and see what he actually does this year instead of melting down.

I suspect the goal in to be fine with the cap by next year and still be conservative in free agency while singing more volume just to add depth and get guys that fit what Moore and Staley want to do while not blowing so much money that the cap is forked again.

If he goes YOLO again and screws the cap for the next 5 years then we can get out the pitchforks, but until or unless he does that can we talk about football?

Weird of you to post this in a thread literally about Loomis????

There's 100s of other threads discussing everything you mentioned yet you're complaining in this one?

Reminds me of all the people wishing for Brees to retire and then they all got exactly what they wanted and went "oh wait, oh no, oh God..."

Thank you … we have people telling us exactly why Johnson and/or McCartney didn’t want to be here … did I miss something they factually/actually said? Or can I get at least one of the phone numbers to them others apparently have? If Loomis somehow, no matter how incredibly unlikely, somehow guides the Saints deep into the postseason or further, are the constant bashers and naysayers gonn go ahead and renounce their fandom? We get the fact many on here don’t like Loomis as GM. And it does appear like they could have reason for that. I’m not going to pretend to know everything, so I’ll keep my feelings on that subject to myself as I have the whole way. But the broken record routine has gotten incredibly stale. Can’t we all please just move on to something fresher and more unifying to the Who Dat Nation as a whole?

1 of 32 is a real thing. Mickey has legit leverage. No GM wants a coward head coach without the belief he can get it turned around. The job pays millions more than their previous assistant job, so ofc any OC/Dc would take the job. Part of me wants to see this team lose hard for the next 5 years straight, to reset the entitled pitiful fans expectations. If the fans knew of 3 more names between the HC and the GM they be calling for them. Dennis Lauche as on the business accounting side, yet the ignorant fans call for his head, like he has a drop of football knowledge. If you’re offended by this post, then I was talking to you.

You really need high heels if you want to be one of the mean girls.
dawggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

thats how long my mouth stayed open. That was a smooth burn, that and mean girls is one of my fav movies.

Ironically i didn't expect for the Loomis trolls to be attracted to this thread. Might delete...peoples complaining makes me complain.

Because it's already present in several other threads today including the one about keeping Carr. And every time Loomis says anything in public we have at least a week of people saying "keeping doing what you are doing", "look beyond the results" , "Tom Landry", "chewing gum" and "cap hell" in nearly every single thread. Then it cools down to every other thread.

Would you have preferred I post this in the thread about keeping Carr? What difference does it really make?

And to be clear, I get people saying they don't like a move or why a decision is bad. What I don't get is the constant posts bashing and/or taking personal shots at Loomis with no substance and just saying "this is a trash fire organization", "we will never win as long as Loomis is GM", "Keep chopping wood", "keep doing what you are doing", "Loomis is an arrogant butt crevasse", "he compared DA to HoF coaches", "look beyond the results", "chewing gum", and on and on ad nauseum. At least bring some substance.

I never start these threads; I just chime in. I've made several posts about getting the BPA (maybe Jenty in other threads), but I never pass up a chance to talk about our main deficiency: he who should remain unnamed. :D:ROFLMAO:
