I must admit, I WAS WRONG ABOUT VINCE YOUNG. I thought he would take a very long time to develop and he has not. He has bee doing a really good job as of late and I have found myself rooting for him the last three weeks in a row. I thought he would be able to run with the football but would struggle as a passer. He has struggled as a passer, but it is no different than any other rookie thrown in the fire. The thing is, I have seen improvement from him each week and he's getting better and better. I had wanted to share this with you and admit that I was wrong, but life has kept me very busy as of late. Of course, you could also admit that you were wrong about Reggie Bush and I guess you stopped believing he would a bust after we selected him. Either way, both are playing better and better and are proving to be well worth the high picks used to select them.

Takes a man to admit that. Goodjob RC... how bout them texans eh heehehhe!!

Chrism.......i was right there with you. i thought there was no way he could come in and learn to be a QB, if he ever did. I think the thing we don't see on college gameday is the guys personality. He actually has a long ways to go as a QB.....but as a competitor, he is Favre like.

Well guys say what you want about vince young. i have said since the rose bowl. Vince young will never be a great NFL QB. Young hasnt faced a good defense at all. Young has poor decision making skills. Look at brees could you ever see Young with this type of ability? Young is a 8-8 team QB nothing more, he will never be a 11-5,12-4 team QB EVER!!!!! He just doesnt have the poise to be a great QB. Sorry i am not sold. let him play the ravens D or chargers etc... then i'll believe.

Not many people can beat the Chargers or Ravens D...which is why those teams have 11 and 10 wins. As you saw, we didn't beat the Ravens. VY is winning with sub-par talent againt more talented teams. Give him a decent team and he can win.

He might not be the best throwing QB but he has ice in his veins. Fourth quarter, playoffs, championship, it only increases his clarity and concentration. That is a rare thing. He probably would have scored higher on the Wonderlic if they tested him through the headset while he was scrimmaging against some all american defensive linemen. Peyton Manning does not completely have that ice in his veins. Brady and Roethslingsberger do. The smart thing for the Titans to do would be to build up their defense and their offensive line. Don't give Vince a ton of weapons because he is not that qb. He can be a great qb on a defensive team where you have to be able to handle lots of close games. I think eventually he could be a quite good passer, he had the top completion percentage or something his last year at Texas, but I dont think he is the guy who throws for 400 yards with 4 wr sets and an awesome pass catching rb setting scoring records. I think he runs the low budget offense well, doesnt get too frustrated when he doesnt score every time, and allows the team to afford a good defense (unlike the colts looking forward).
