O had no leverage, no other team was looking to hire him much less a power 5 team. No way he should have received a buyout of more than 3 million. If he balked, I'm sure a pj fleck or other up and comer woulda jumped at the chance.

For the record I wanted chip kelly to pair with Aranda.

Chip Kelly is not coming to the SEC, much less college football any time soon. He bailed just in time to avoid some serious allegations and apparently is enamored with trying to make it work in the NFL again.

If you want some names to keep an eye on, here are a few that I think would be interesting:

I don't know a ton about Fedora, but sure seems like he's done a nice job at NC.
