This is what I worried about when tamu hired Jimbo.

And i’ll just ignore the worries beyond that

I'm not one of those "Sports = WWE" types who swear each game has a pre-determined outcome........because I simply don't believe that....

But in this case, it certainly seems like the "desired outcome" was a TAMU victory........and they were gonna get every available opportunity from the refs to hang in there. LSU had multiple opportunities to just end it (assuming those instances wouldn't have mysteriously gotten called back for bull**** reasons).........but they just continued finding ways to keep the whole thing lingering on and on.

Also, the NFL would have ended that game as a tie over an hour ago. Just another reason why college football is better.

What bothers me most was that the 4th down play wasn't reviewed or even measured. Getting shirt right at that point is what should happen. Regardless, the ball was spotted nearly a full yard ahead of where the receiver went down. I couldn't believe what I was watching. That was simply an official trying to keep A&M in the game. Unreal.
It's being reported now that the yellow line on TV was two yards off the mark...

Are they also reporting that a catch, turn, two steps, and dropping the ball is not a fumble?

Nope, but I did hear that evidence exists if on the last play of the game you have 5 people lined up in the backfield it's totally cool.

Went to the casino in Vicksburg with the wife. Was watching the game on my phone. Battery starts running low with about 10 minutes left in the game. 1 minute to go in the 4th quarter, LSU intercepts the ball and my phone goes dead.

All I could think about was how lucky I was for my phone to hold out long enough to see the ending. Great win TIGERS!

What could this line judge possibly be thinking while ALL FOUR A&M wide receivers are lined up TWO YARDS off the line of scrimmage ON HIS SIDE OF THE FIELD?!?!?
Did he just forget that it was HIS JOB to throw the flag and END THE GAME right there?!?!?

Even after the blown 4th down pass that didn't reach the 1st down, this was not a loss by LSU. It was clearly a win for the officials. :hm:
