He safely navigated you and your wife from point A to point B in an air conditioned vehicle during July. You have no way of knowing exactly what would have happened if he had taken a different route.

Be grateful for the important things, and understand that life doesn't always operate at peak convenience.

I guess my only question is, was it possible there would be heavy traffic getting off the interstate going to the festival? I've been to many festivals and rarely is the direct route the best route to take when it comes to traffic..

Typically when i go to a Saints game, i am there a few hours early. But there have been a few times where i wasn't able (usually someone else fault) to be early. I sure in the heck wasn't taking the interstate to the Superdome exit... I'd rather go way out of my way than sit in traffic, even if my alternate route takes the same amount of time as me sitting in traffic..lol
