Jenkins is a dawg as I’ve argued many times . CJ is a dawg , PRob is a dawg , Jenkins is a Dawg DENNIS ALLEN just has to call the right defenses and weekly preparation. The only thing can hold them back now is him or injuries .

I was happy that we signed him for veteran leadership, but after the first few games it definitely made me question the signing. I’m gladly eating crow now.

No, it’s not just thst our pressure has picked up, which it has. The DBs are not blowing coverages like they were in the first 6 games. They know what they are doing now. All 3 defensive units are playing complememtary football now, and MJ is balling out along with CGJ, DD, and DO.

Jenkins is playing the same way he has played for years. If you thought Jenkins was terrible at the start of the season, but has now played his way back to being good, you should probably stay away from football player evaluation.

Regardless, if we are rubbing safetys in folk's noses, we should use Marcus Williams, who has been everywhere he is supposed to be, though most of the board would have have traded him away after the Carolina game.

This is the most talented Saints secondary ever assembled.

I'm in the pass rush camp. The rush is "getting there," as they say, during the past two games more so than during the first two months of the season. Another guy who was maligned early, Marcus Davenport, has also played a role in this. It's been a typical Dennis Allen season on defense. It works like an old TV -- you have to let it warm up first!

Agreed. Hated losing Bell and signing Jenkins, but he’s been playing well lately imo.
