I bet EA will make the special edition version cost the same as if you bought both HC and Madden seperately.

If you have the 08 version(Wii), when the 09 comes out, do they disallow you from doing roster updates?

Yes. Otherwise no one would buy the new roster updates, I mean games, they've been putting out at the start of each season.

That's what I figured. It would be nice if they let you pay a fee for just doing a roster update and not drop $50 on a new game. My kid may have to just live with the 08 version. Yeah, I'm cheap. :hihi:

I don't think Madden is getting my money this year.

I'm bored with bs football games being retread over and over.

I want Backbreaker to be good.

EA has us by the controllers.

I'll get in line to buy Madden on Aug 12 knowing full well that:

The computer will still play cheap.
The sidelines will still look last-gen.
The Superdome endzone will still have pics of Joe Horn and Aaron Brooks.
There still wouldn't be a Halftime/Postgame show.

NFL Head Coach 09 is scheduled to ship only as a part of the Madden NFL 09 20th Anniversary Collector’s Edition, which, at a suggested retail price of $89.99 for the complete package of Madden NFL 09 and NFL Head Coach 09 plus additional exclusive bonus content, will ship on the Xbox 360™ and PLAYSTATION®3.

we're all junkies, let's just admit it. the drugs today don't get us off as much as they used to, but we'll still all run out and buy the newest fix. we'll even believe that it's the best thing since sliced bread for a while. but in the end it's the same old madden, but i love it.

It ain't even that. I could live with that.

What I can't live with is when I know exactly what the guy I'm playing is going to do, and I call the perfect defense to stop it, I click in to the player perfectly to make the play after bringing heat up front, and the ball goes through my guy. Or around my guy, like the magic bullet theory, and then back on its original line to find the receiver.

It can't be that hard to make good gameplay. Shoot, the Madden franchise did it a long, long time ago. Then they started focusing on stupid stuff.

I would like to see how the new head coach is going to be. It is suppose to be way better than the last one. It better be though because the first one was awful

Also, not going to release on PC anymore. Nice job EA! Small amount of ppl use the PC version but at least we'll save our money now.
