Madden 11 another Disappointment? (1 Viewer)

1 thing I've always loved doing in Madden 11, is trying to fully utilize Franchise Mode.

Last year I noticed it was kinda weak. Players progressed and only regressed in old age or IR.

Selecting coaches was lacking. Contract negotiations were utterly disastrous. Pre-Season was pointless. And there was no practice mode during the weeks.

I heard there were a lot of complaints in last years franchise mode. So i expected "enhancements" for Madden 11.

Unfortunately, no dice.

The worst of the matter is, EA keeps buying out the NFL license preventing the company that makes the NFL 2k Games/NBA 2k Games etc etc from making any NFL games, who every year attempted major enhancements to their franchise mode.

so EA has 0 competition.

I'm really starting to dislike EA

I read somewhere that this year they wanted to focus on AI and just making the gameplay better. They said they would completely revamp the franchise mode next year. I'll try and find the article.
