Played a few games last night and I must say that I like it. More like the good old days of Madden... pre-2005 on the ps2. Still remember the all night tourneys and cheap pitchers of beer in random Metry bars, from about '02 - '04, like it was yesterday. Going get "medicined up" in the parking lot before the big match, etc. Damn those were good times. Anyways, this new issue is much, much better and I can see my Madden addiction returning in full force. I just got to get used to playing with the 360 controller, and yes, not using the d-pad. I won't miss the ****** ps2 lobbies though.

nothing wrong with the strategy pad, learn to use the sticks and you'll be better off for it.

I do have a PS3. It seems that a lot of people was complaining because Ian Cummings made this statement.

Played the demo last night. I find nothing wrong with the strategy pad. The video just makes it seem like people are too lazy to move their left thumb.

played it last night. i like the feature of the OC and DC calling plays... its pretty neat... dont know if i'll play with that EVERY time once i get the game, but its a neat addition.

finally got around to playing it last night. I actually enjoyed it. Maybe i will buy it new.
