According to state estimates, more than 400 businesses were licensed as of January 1. Since then, and despite Sessions’s new marijuana policy, more cities — including Los Angeles, the most populous in California — began letting businesses sell cannabis for recreational use, adding dozens more approved licenses to the state’s total.

The growth is expected to continue. GreenWave Advisors, a cannabis financial analyst, estimated that California’s industry could be worth $5.1 billion in 2018. One report from researchers at the investment bank Cowen estimated that legalization in California alone would triple the size of the nation’s legal pot industry within a decade.

MSRT closed up 46% yesterday...

Been looking at that one a bit. They have a conference call scheduled today to discuss recent and upcoming developments.

My POTN is still up 1158% from my buy in but has been hitting some dips as of late.

Dumping out of CBIS this morning.

Prosecutors in San Francisco will throw out thousands of marijuana-related convictions of residents dating back to 1975.

San Francisco District Attorney George Gascón said Wednesday that his office will dismiss and seal 3,038 misdemeanor convictions dating back before the state's legalization of marijuana went into effect, with no action necessary from those who were convicted.

They're doing it right.

Fox news poll shows drastic opinion change.

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/201...egalizing-marijuana-hits-record-high.amp.html

The poll shows 59 percent of voters support legalizing marijuana. That’s up from 51 percent in 2015, and 46 percent in 2013 (the first time this question was asked on a Fox News Poll). In addition, only 26 percent favored making “smoking marijuana” legal in 2001.

Thirty-two percent now oppose legalizing pot, down from a high of 49 percent in 2013

Support for marijuana legalization is quickly becoming a mainstream consensus position in the Democratic Party.

Two of the party's leading potential 2020 presidential candidates joined together this week in support of far-reaching legislation that would end the federal prohibition of cannabis and encourage states to legalize the drug.

Looks like this might be a lightening rod for the 2020 elections. Maybe a way for the Dem's to paint crusty old Rep's as out of touch and liars about this which would make them question all the other policies.

Oh and...
