The stats are gaudy. The Saints are first in the NFL in scoring (46.5 points per game), first in total offense (468 yards per game), second in passing (323 yards per game) and 8th in rushing offense (145 yards per game). The "Black & Gold" can also boast in a quarterback (Drew Brees) who has completed 75% of his passes and thrown for 9 touchdowns in the team's 2-0 start.
Think it can't get better? Don't tell that to guys with the fleur de lis on their helmets.
On his part, Brees has no problems finding flaws to correct. "It's the first 2 games and we still turn on the tape and see a lot of things that we can continue to improve on. Obviously, we're happy with the fact that we were able to score 45 and 48 points respectively, but we understand there's going to be bigger challenges ahead and just continue to fine tune and continue to become more efficient as we go along here."
