New Orleans Saints backup quarterback Chase Daniel's chase to become an NFL starting quarterback opened up a little more Friday morning. With Matt Moore re-signing with Miami Friday morning to remain as Ryan Tannehill's backup, it helps open the market for Daniel, who is an unrestricted free agent.
Daniel said Friday morning he couldn't go into too many details on his thought process before the open talking period for agents and teams begins Friday night, but he couldn't help expressing his excitement for free agency Friday morning as the quarterback said via Twitter, "Cant wait! RT @ProFootballTalk: Get ready to stay up late, because free agency essentially begins at midnight (Eastern)."
