Marques Colston wins "ugly betty" award

on Espn's the fantasy show, Marques Colston wins the award for the not so glamorous player but the best previously unknown fantasy player. He is getting much recognition (not that it matters and all that) but I just thought it was cool. He won the award over Rex Grossman, Travis Henry, Bernard Berrian and Jon Kitna. Not bad for a 7th round rookie. This kid is special. They also said they would take him over Chad Johnson.

Ya know what I really like about him....he's all business after a TD...no show-boating like ya see from some of the other receivers in the league...that's my type of player...let your play do all the talking for ya....:9:

Well,I really like Colston and I am not taking anything away from him. No, I don' t want Colston to celebrate after a TD or talk trash. But, I think Chad Johnson is a good receiver and I think he makes the game fun with what he does. It is all in good fun, he is just joking when he does what he does. With that said, I prefer Colston much more, I mean this kid is playing like a 5 year veteran and is a classy type player and I would guess a hard worker. We just can't say enough about him.

Puhhleeeeease, if Colston was on the Philly Eagles he would be the BIGGEST STAR to hit the NFL. ESPN can go suck an egg.

chad johnson has great attitude and character, and faces double teams most of the time, like joe horn, Colston doesn't, we shall see when he gets this how he does

It's so true. The Saints are the ******* stepchild (please, those of you who are ******* stepchildren, don't take offense) of the NFL. Sometimes it was deserved but for some in the league, no matter what, we will always be the 'Aints.

Before the Ravens game, I'd have agreed. He's been impressive all year long, and gained more and more respect as the season progressed. But there was always that uncertainty, that "too good to be true" aspect. After watching him against Baltimore, he cleared those doubts. He is a legit go-to receiver. He made some big catches against some good coverages. He is one of the best picks in the draft, regardless of the round.

When Drew Brees is comfortable in the pocket, we will most likely win. You can't double Joe, Colston, Reggie, Deuce. Someone will always have a good game for us.
