Mass shooting at Taiwanese church. (1 Viewer)

Nope. Many people want to attack all arms of the problem; mental health, growing social communities beit online or otherwise that embrace hateful rhetoric, and guns.

The problem is there's too many people saying this is just a mental health issue. It's not. Mental health is an easy way to assign fault to individuals and ignore the societal issues.
Unless you're on some Jeffrey Dahmer, living with the stench of rotten heads in a duffel bag, type sheet - miss me with that mental health defense.

In point of fact, gun violence in the United States is worse in cities with stricter gun laws than in other parts of the United States. The issue is lack of training, lack of education, lack of empathy, and lack of value for other people's lives.

Or maybe it is the high population density, and all of the things high population density brings with it?

I think that's certainly a factor. The stress level of living in cities like Manhattan or Los Angeles is something that needs to be taken into account because there is a palpable difference between that and living in smaller cities/towns. But that all leads back right to mental health again.
