The Saints will have a handful of veteran players trying out this weekend at rookie minicamp.

Among them are safety Matt Elam, defensive tackle Jay Bromley, defensive tackle Tyrunn Walker and offensive tackle Michael Ola, according to league sources.

Elam, selected in the first round of the 2013 draft by the Baltimore Ravens, did not have the fifth-year option picked up on his contract. He missed the 2015 season due to a torn biceps and the Ravens let him walk in 2017 after some legal troubles.

Bromley, a 2014 third-round pick, is a veteran of four seasons with the Giants. He accumulated two sacks and 47 tackles during his time in New York.

Walker got his start with the Saints and flashed promise during his first three seasons in New Orleans, picking up 2 1/2 sacks. He then signed with Detroit in 2015, where he spent two seasons before playing with the Rams last year.
