I totally agree . I also think that Mcvay really wanted Stafford to be more of a “system “ QB that plays within the script of their play action based offense and Stafford goes off script too often. If he always made good decisions it would probably be OK, but that offense works best when the QB does not as lib within the current play call.I'm not gonna lie, I wanted him at the time, just because of the hand he was dealt with Detroit and what I knew Sean could get out of him.
Now? There's no excuses now. He's surrounded by the best play makers in the league.
I will say the addition of OBJ was not a good idea and it's obvious that they are trying to force the ball to him, when they should be targeting the MVP of the league.
