Max Unger retires (1 Viewer)

Wishing Unger the best. It’s a physical game so he knows when it’s time to go. I’m sure he’ll go back to Hawaii and surf. The Saints will adapt, Tom, Clapp, and anyone else have several months to take charge.

PFF had him at #19, so you're in the ballpark if you feel PFF rankings are reliable.

Exactly.

Not saying PFF is the be-all, end-all. But with some of the sky is falling posts, you’d think we were losing an elite player in his prime.

Curious to see if we bring in someone like Easton, who has played C and G, or roll with Tom.

Peace out Max! Thanks for the years of service, and good luck in the future... enjoy your retirement. Father Time remains undefeated.

The Saints will either adapt, adjust, and move forward... or they won't. The only sure thing is that the NFL is still a tainted shell of its former self, and it will remain that way as long as that piece of trash sits in the commissioner's chair.

11 teams found a way to make the playoffs w/out Max Unger as their Center last season... and the "Super Bowl Champs" were among them.

Meanwhile, the team with arguably the best Center in the league watched the playoffs from home.

John Sullivan formerly of the Rams is still available. Maybe we should bring him in ASAP!

Jason Kelece was considered the best center in NFL and he plays for the Eagles. Who are you thinking of?

What in the hell is going on out there?!!!

He has to have given the team a heads up, right? If not, that would be a **** move to leave the team hanging like this.

Not really. League year just started, draft is a way off.

Not everybody knows it’s time right after the last game. It’s when the off-season gets active and the grind starts when players realize that they just can’t do it again.

The timing of this stinks but it’s not inappropriate.
