Max von Sydow, ‘Seventh Seal,’ ‘Star Wars’ Actor, Dies at 90

90 is a good run. Always liked his work. The Exorcist always pops into my head when I hear his name.

Missed this in all the coronavirus news until I googled his name last night after watching The Seventh Seal, the worst possible choice on my DVR during a real plague. .

My favorite scene was at the end of The Emigrants. After the long and terrible journey, he finally gets his land and sits under a tree with a satisfied smile on his face. He was almost 91.
