I think we will end up with Gruden. This team seems to be lacking a coach that is a stickler for attention to detail and we had that with Coach Payton. Someone that’s truly a x and o’s coach. Hell payton was a qb coach under him in Philly. We need a person who isn’t soft and knows how to light a fire also and DA just doesn’t do that. I think that tenacity is what Dan Campbell has in Detroit and it has helped the lions. Missing tackles and all of these penalties and other nonsense would be called out in practice by a Sean Payton and Gruden. I just think that’s the direction they may go.

Exactly what we need to stay in the league’s doghouse.

There will be think pieces posted left and right if the Saints hire Charles Lee Ray.

That's one grenade that an NFL team will not step on.

I'm gonna make a bold prediction and say DA is back again next year. I can hear Mickey now "injuries", "we showed progress", "we just need some breaks to go our way", "DA is a good coach, the fan's have no clue".
Unfortunately, most of us have begrudgingly accepted this, which only adds to the frustration.

I absolutely do not want Gruden. Go do your homework and find a young up and coming coordinator. I don't want another retread. Need someone with some fire and hunger to prove themselves. It might fail spectacularly, or we find someone committed to the team for a long tenure like Payton did.

That said, wake me up when Allen is fired. Until then, this sort of talk is a waste of time.
