Back in the early 90s I was filmed for a Japanese gameshow (it filmed in NYC)
We put our faces into a fish tank and said Japanese phrases and the contestants in Tokyo were supposed to guess what we said (phonetically one of the phrases was something like shen day shay Mao de so)
Also "Arnold Schwarzenegger " was the bonus answer
