bill consistently managed to contribute to any discussion and participate in a way that really didn't alienate anyone - which isn't easily done. And he could introduce levity in a way that was timely and respectful to participants. Always impressed by that, and tons of respect for him.

An absolute asset on the boards and can only imagine how he must've been in real life.
