[MERGED] NFL is fixed (1 Viewer)

The Bills and Rams and the Browns play each other every four years. It just happened that the year they played Mayfield returned and Miller played his old team.

As for the Browns/Texans, it was evident that the League didn’t want any part of that. That game was buried as the 4th CBS noon game. Only Cleveland and Houston had access to it.

And you can’t put last night on a conspiracy. That was just terrible coaching.
Every 4 years and it just so happens Von Miller gets traded to the team that plays his former team, same with Baker.

Evident enough that a player that should be suspended for the year comes back just in time to play his former team.

It just so happens that Brady beats Mannings record last night against the Saints. That's not a conspiracy. It's story telling. You call it terrible coaching. Did coaching cause Ingram to go out of bounds?

Dennis Allen is horrible but he's not the only reason we're losing.

Well, Houston isn’t losing anything because the League has shared revenue.
But that goes into why it’s not fixed. If they really wanted to tilt it to larger market teams, they could just simply get rid of shared revenue and get rid of the salary cap.
That alone would create a 1% of franchises like NY, LA, the NFCE.
It's not about larger markets. They need to create parity. Any given Sunday etc. Some franchises, even if small, are worth more to the league right now than bigger markets.

A coiencidence doesn’t equal a conspiracy. The Miller and Baker trades just happened the offseason prior to the year they were scheduled to play.
And the schedule was made before the Watson decision. A decision that was contested by the League that was trying to get a full year.
And they buried that game as deep as you could have.
The 4th CBS noon game were it’s only broadcast in the home market.

There's no conspiracy. The WWE wasn't some grand conspiracy.

If the NFL wanted a year suspension that's what he would have got. Why would Watsons return need a PT game? Buried? Anyone can watch it even if it's not in your market.

The NFL couldn’t just suspend him. They had to deal with the Players Association.
And yes, that game was buried. It was CBS’s forth noon game that week. CBS only put the broadcast in Houston and Cleveland.

So if the NFL is rigged then all those wins under. Dee’s was rigged. The Super Bowl, 2006, all of it rigged.

This rigged nfl crap and ref whining has reached epic proportions on this board and is so embarrassing.

Illegally, yes.
But the network only put the broadcast in Cleveland and Houston.
They didn’t flex the game to SNF or MNF after the agreement between the League and the PA was made.
You could tell by the placement in CBS’s lineup no one wanted any of this game. That’s why only the home markets got it.

That's correct. I know you don't want to hear that. Go back and watch that magical 2009 season and you'll see the refs, the defenses we faced, the plays all benefitted us that year.

Especially the Miami and Washington games. Go and watch those 2 games. Without the officials we lose.
Brees was a great QB and a great person for the league. Add in hurricane and you'll see how much money the NFL generated using that storyline over and over. Sorry bud but what you are seeing on TV is a stage.

This isn’t the NBA where the ratings rise or fall based on a franchise being available.
You could put any team in the Super Bowl and you’re gonna see a profit.

No you won't. Detroit, Houston, Jacksonville would generate nothing compared to teams with solid star power QBs. What storyline could you generate with those trash teams? It's all about money.

The WWE sells the exact same thing that the NFL does.

They would be in the Super Bowl. That’s a storyline already.
A Detroit/Houston, Houston/Jacksonville, or any combination would still get 100-150 million people watching the game.

It’s gotten to the point that this is clearly all manufactured. I’m not saying players don’t try and make plays, but this league is in a position where it is ratings driven and gambling driven. The officials are certainly told how to shift games.

The storyline would be that anyone can make it to the big game. Parity. I'd LOVE a Detroit Superbowl!

Lmao. They can't even fill the stands at home and you expect 150 million people to tune into that garbage? Nah. That's why they suck. Nobody cares about them. They don't sell tickets, jerseys, or any other merchandise. It's a scrimmage playing them.
