N/S Micah Parsons to Switch from LB to Full-Time Defensive End (1 Viewer)

You know what they say, if it ain't broke don't fix it. Unless you want to tinker with it for the lulz.

He's not adding that much weight and I'm sure he'll remain a beast but sometimes you don't need to change a thing. Remember when Deuce was one of the most explosive dual threat RBs in the league with a rare combination of size and speed? He was one of the most gifted players I have ever seen. Naturally Haslett wasn't satisfied with that so Deuce transformed into a different player. Never understood why you would start monkeying around with an elite player.

As other users alluded, Parsons was drafted as a linebacker and wants to be paid in his next contract as a DE to get paid more. He will not actually be changing anything just using social media to start the basis of of negotiation. On draft day players are often characterized as Edge rather than DE or Linebacker. Parsons contract should be above TJ Watt as an edge to reset the edge market.

Going from 245 to 270?

Micah is a stud but I'll be curious to see (explosiveness) how this pans out.

This is a huge mistake, but it's the cowboys so I'm glad to see them do it.

Not aimed at you personally, but I had a question for all.....
So you don't think that Parsons and the Cowboys won't be testing his agility for every 5 lbs or so that he's adding?
Or do you think they'll wait until he gets all the way to 270 to find out if it was a bad idea?

Cowboys front office: “Hey Micah, you know that stuff you do better than anyone else? Yea we’re gonna need ya to stop it. K thanks.”
