Michael Lewis, 84, aka "Da Beer Man"

Since his injury on Sept. 21, 2005... He just hasn't been the same, but I did think that the Native New Orleanian was going to return one all the way on Sunday against Dallas. I know I would have definitely been excited for him to make his "Return Return", how about ya'll?

hasnt been the same how?... if anything he's been better... no he hasnt taken on to the house but i can count on one hand the number of times we've gotten the ball on the 20 since he's been returning the ball.. the man has been a beast since his return..

He will win us a game this year or at least set up up for a late drive I just wonder if we should stop with Reggie and let Lewis do his thing.

At that I guess he hasn't been that bad, I guess I'm just expecting more out of him to make that touchdown return like he used to do. I just can't wait for the day, hopefully it's this Sunday.

He has increased our field position quite a bit since his return. Don't know exactly what the numbers are, but it's obvious that he is doing a good job.

It's not like he would return one every game. It would be 2 or 3 in a season. He has only played like 6 games this year or less.

I think that could/should happen too.

I mean let's leave it up to Payton.

He has his secret player each game...

I mean look at 5 year veteran of the Saints, Mike Karney, first 3 TDs in his career (44 games or something like that) were on Sunday. WHO DAT?

#84 could be my very favorite SAINT in my heart of hearts! Who else could exemplify the plight of the underdog , given no chance but to follow a dream? HIs DREAM! The dream of knowing deep inside that you're one fast and determined man who just needed a shot at the Big Leagues, got it, and made the most of it!

Now, you just can't make that stuff up! Michael "Da Beerman" Lewis is a MOVIE waiting to happen in the future and when he returns a punt for a TD in the SUPERBOWL this year, the H'wood producers will swoop down for the film rights before the game ends!

If not, the movie will be out in about 10 years from now, IMHO!

Either way! What a truly New Orleans Story to have on our side! I Dig Da BEERMAN!

Have some faith! He will NOT let you down on that return you're looking for!

The main thing is he hasn't been running straight for the sidelines like he was for awhile. He's seeing the lanes and getting as much yardage as possible.

Coincidentally, I was thinking about the Beer Man this morning. I think it was because I was watching Deven Hester last night against the Rams. Mike will break one or two before our season is over...I truly believe he will and I think it will come at a very crucial time. Perhaps in a playoff game. I was dreaming this morning and I have a feeling he will break one in Chicago if we can make it to the NFC Championship. I want to show that Bear team that one, we would never, ever be afraid to come play them at Soldier Field in January and two, I want to show them that we also have a return specialist that is every bit as talented as Hester. I'm really rooting for Mike. Other guys that I really want to see succeed (besides the whole team) are Freddie Thomas, Mike McKenzie, and Devery Henderson
