These are two of our best offensive players yet they are always hurt. They are useless to us no matter how talented if they can't get on tbe field half the season. It is getting ridiculous.

Have a feeling this is MTs last season as a saint. Probably traded in the off-season. Availability is key.

I don’t think anyone would unless we gave up something. Might as well IR him the rest of the season and replace home with someone that can consistently play games. Wasted money, top 5 bad contracts.

Let’s see how many games Mike misses this season before we write him off please
Also will be interesting to see how Alvin looks with a different quarterback

No WR who signed a record WR deal at the time has finished that contract with the team they signed with. It's a safe bet MT doesn't finish his contract as a Saint.

Most RBs don't finish their 2nd contract so it's also a safe bet AK doesn't finish his contract as a Saint.

The further these guys get into their contract, the easier it is to trade them.

Everyone is looking at trade value of SP, but there is also trade value here.

Team is in a rough spot in multiple areas. It’s going to be a tough time. My only hope is that the culture of the organization doesn’t become a losing one. Then you have to pray it doesn’t last 30 years.

The team is in a very rough spot. Poor coaching, consistently injured players, massive crippling contracts, and very few draft picks to strengthen the roster mean we are looking forward to several long rough seasons. What should happen - Mrs. Benson should do a total housecleaning from top to bottom. Starting with Mickey Loomis. He has been the Captain of this Titanic and steered his ship right into the Salary Cap iceberg. Mrs. Benson should hire a team of consultants to help guide her through this process of hiring a new GM and staff. Then you let the new GM find and hire the next Head Coach. Then you let the new staff blow up and reform your roster. It will take a few years to rebuild but done right in a few seasons you could have a competitive team with a manageable salary cap.

What will most likely happen - Mrs. Benson keeps Loomis. He in turn will keep Dennis Allen for at least one more season. The team will trade several of their top players and future draft picks to get back into the first round. They will pick a QB. Allen will most likely throw this young QB to the wolves in hope of saving his job. There is a high likelihood of - Loomis overpaying for that draft pick (crippling the team even further), Allen failing as a HC again, and that rookie poor QB being forever damaged be learning bunches of bad habits.

I need a drink……

Agreed. Their availability is starting to become an issue with their value to our roster in regards to cap space.

You’d have to have black and gold blinders on to deny it.
