Why are you so interested in giving our opponents a competitive advantage? Theres no need to rule anyone out early.
Because it’s not about us. It’s about not giving your competitor an advantage in game planning. Any uncertainty means they have to spend a least a little more time thinking and planning For the possibility he plays.
Honestly, after 14 years with Payton, I don’t think there’s much uncertainty. If a player is limited past Wednesday 9 out of 10 times, they aren’t playing. Payton has always seemed to be much more conservative with injuries and returns.
