This had to be said and I'm glad Michelle did it. Thank you for calling the man out for what he is.

I just don't see Hillary having any moral high ground here.

Its no surprise that Trump is a scumbag and would grope women because he feels his money gives him the power to do so. I don't think this surprises anyone who has heard this guy talk and can get a sense of his ego.

Hillary's defense of Bill and her attacks on his victims puts her right there with him though. She did this with the same attitude as Trump. She feels her power puts her above others and 1st priority is to protect the power.

I get it if someone wants to vote for one of these candidates over the other because of supreme court nominations, healthcare or tax stances, but I don't think you can say it is because one has superior character.

Every time someone trots out this nonsense about Hillary's "defense of Bill" and "attacks on his victims" I ask what victims, what proof and what attacks? Then, I point out that I don't recall her "defense" of Bill only a pretty stiff upper lip.

Would you care to elaborate?

Although I did hear "Tom Traubert's Blues" this morning on the radio.

She's not what I call an obvious heroine, but I do think she wins the tallest midget contest here.

I am merely voting for her because I believe she is the wiser choice, given the alternative.

that judge is against the death penalty but he totally killed that guy who _________ his child

hyperbolic to make the point that the actions of an aggrieved family member don't necessarily bear any resemblance to what public actions they will take (unless you're arguing that Hillary will adopt a men's rights platform if she wins)

Also if I were Hillary and i knew Judicial Watch and the ilk were throwing lawsuit after lawsuit at my husband to thwart the executive process, i'm not sure i would take that moment to call Bill out

and are you trying to draw a parallel between consensual affairs and sexual assault?

but again, the victim blaming is gross

I would also like to know how Clinton attacked her husband's mistresses. All I remember is her defending Bill at first from what she thought were false accusations at the time. Because Bill was lying to her as well as the American people.

What I do remember reading was that there was some fairly spirited yelling and some dishes were thrown in the private living quarters when Bill had to come clean to his wife. :hihi:

Maybe this is somewhere you could start:idunno: All you need to do is google it and there's proof of what she did. Also more than one of Bill's women accused him of at least assault and also rape. I don't have a dog in this race but please don't come across saying Hillary was just keeping a stiff upper lip. She was complicit in all of Bill's BS.

Really if you had a open mind in the 90's and weren't in bed with either party you could see that the Clinton's were by far the most corrupt couple in the public eye with Tammy Lee and Jim Baker a close second.

Soon, Michelle Obama and her failure of a husband will be a footnote in American history. I guess she can go back to be embarrassed as an American.

The funny thing is 50 years from now Obama is going to be who conservatives mention when they talk about the best past president of these times.

They're not going to re-embrace the huge debt and failed wars of Bush 43. Look how many of you scamper to say he's just like Obama suddenly now that were singing his praises to the moon 8 years ago. They certainly aren't going to embrace Hillary and get over past feelings there. They aren't going to love William Jefferson Clinton either. Bush 41 was a wet noodle in conservative and other eyes. Then there's Reagan.

Before that Ford fell down stairs, Nixon resigned and you have to go back to Eisenhower, and no one stands up for the scandal, failure, and corruption of Harding, Coolidge and Hoover driving the country off a cliff. So basically for a century the three presidents conservatives will look back and call good from WWI-2025 will be Eisenhower, Reagan and Obama. If you don't think history will see him that way, then you're down to two you like in over a century. Good luck with surviving as a party when you hate the very creatures your politics creates.

I know I can find some affection for Wilson, FDR, Truman, Kennedy, LBJ, even a soft spot for Camp David with Carter, WJ Clinton, Obama and we'll see with HRC.

So far, from my political point of view I've more or less approved of the legacy of most of the people the Democrats have elected. Sure they've got blemishes but on balance I'd defend as good for the country the administrations of all but maybe Carter. Sure you hate them, but take a look at how much you hate your own men. You won't defend most of your own once the facts are on the table and history has been recorded.

If you don't like the meals you eat, change what you're cooking.
