Really odd that the local media would be pushing a "Don't Fire Dennis" narrative at this juncture.
I'm legit mad I voluntarily listened to a video that i knew was going to have Fletcher Mackel on it.

This is an important divisional game coming up that would allow the Saints to put a slightly bigger cushion between them and ATL & TB. If they don't use Taysom, who has a history of absolutely owning the Falcons, an appreciable amount on Sunday....my goodness. The character of this team is DA, that's why we hardly see Taysom Hill hhaa
You'll still have people running cover for DA.This is an important divisional game coming up that would allow the Saints to put a slightly bigger cushion between them and ATL & TB. That's an understandable opinion, but keep in mind, coaches notice that sort of thing, and if they could possibly fired halfway through their second season with a 5-5 record and leading the division (low bar, I know), I think they'd be more inclined to rule out that team as a potential destination.
It would be par for the course and people here would still point to something other than DA being the cause. Last season it was the QB situation that was handcuffing Pete and the team. Now, it's just Pete. Next season, maybe people will finally figure out that it's the roster that's really gotten us to .500 in spite of coaching so far, but I'm starting to wonder. How scary would it be if we had a sub .500 season and didn’t make changes?
To be honest, if DA makes it to the play offs and loses. Even if he wins the division w/ 8 wins. He still gets another year. It's just hard to fire your friends. That's why you don't hire them. How scary would it be if we had a sub .500 season and didn’t make changes?
No worries, we won’t win the division.I would read as if they continue this way there will be changes.
Just imagine if we win this division. With as weak as our schedule has been it'll be a first place schedule next year, scary.
You seriously have more faith in Atlanta? No worries, we won’t win the division.
Until Sunday. This team is inconsistent, not well coached, and QB play has been bad. Not to mention the defense is trending in the wrong direction. I’ve seen enough to say it’s fair to not believe we can win enough games to remain in 1st.You type that as the Saints currently have 1st…
You think Atlanta is better? Ridder is better?Until Sunday. This team is inconsistent, not well coached, and QB play has been bad. Not to mention the defense is trending in the wrong direction. I’ve seen enough to say it’s fair to not believe we can win enough games to remain in 1st.
Both are bad teams. Think Tampa is the best in the division. They have played a first place schedule which has impacted their record. You think Atlanta is better? Ridder is better?
And the one thing DA has been able to do is beat Atlanta. Both are bad teams. Think Tampa is the best in the division. They have played a first place schedule which has impacted their record.
Predict we split with Atlanta. Both will win at home. If anyone gets swept it’s us. We lost to Josh Dobbs. Desmond Ridder is on par with Josh. Atlanta has more on offense than MIN had in their beat down of us.
We shall see on Sunday and hope you are right. Smith has been good off of bye’s, they have been better at home, and quite honestly - the Saints are not that good. And the one thing DA has been able to do is beat Atlanta.
He’s 2-0.
