Mickey Loomis “The character of this team will be revealed” over these final 7 games. (2 Viewers)

The character of this team is DA, that's why we hardly see Taysom Hill hhaa
This is an important divisional game coming up that would allow the Saints to put a slightly bigger cushion between them and ATL & TB. If they don't use Taysom, who has a history of absolutely owning the Falcons, an appreciable amount on Sunday....my goodness.

You'll still have people running cover for DA.

That's an understandable opinion, but keep in mind, coaches notice that sort of thing, and if they could possibly fired halfway through their second season with a 5-5 record and leading the division (low bar, I know), I think they'd be more inclined to rule out that team as a potential destination.

Denver fired Nathaniel Hackett in a one and done season, then they hired the #1 coaching prospect available Sean Payton. If you have a good roster, that doesn't weigh in.

How scary would it be if we had a sub .500 season and didn’t make changes?
It would be par for the course and people here would still point to something other than DA being the cause. Last season it was the QB situation that was handcuffing Pete and the team. Now, it's just Pete. Next season, maybe people will finally figure out that it's the roster that's really gotten us to .500 in spite of coaching so far, but I'm starting to wonder.

To be honest, if DA makes it to the play offs and loses. Even if he wins the division w/ 8 wins. He still gets another year. It's just hard to fire your friends. That's why you don't hire them.

The only way Gayle is going to fire DA, is if the Saints season tickets sales suffer. They have to pay for all those dome renovations. Is anybody on SR giving up their season tickets? Nope!!!!!!!!!!!

You type that as the Saints currently have 1st…
Until Sunday. This team is inconsistent, not well coached, and QB play has been bad. Not to mention the defense is trending in the wrong direction. I’ve seen enough to say it’s fair to not believe we can win enough games to remain in 1st.

You think Atlanta is better? Ridder is better?

Both are bad teams. Think Tampa is the best in the division. They have played a first place schedule which has impacted their record.

Predict we split with Atlanta. Both will win at home. If anyone gets swept it’s us. We lost to Josh Dobbs. Desmond Ridder is on par with Josh. Atlanta has more on offense than MIN had in their beat down of us.

And the one thing DA has been able to do is beat Atlanta.
He’s 2-0.

And I wouldn’t forget about the Colts. They have more than a good shot at beating Tampa.

We shall see on Sunday and hope you are right. Smith has been good off of bye’s, they have been better at home, and quite honestly - the Saints are not that good.
