New Orleans Saints general manager Mickey Loomis said the club is “prepared for anything” in terms of a potential suspension of running back Alvin Kamara.
Loomis said team officials are essentially in wait-and-see mode as they monitor Kamara’s legal situation in Clark County, Nev., which stems from his arrest after an incident at a Las Vegas nightclub in February. Kamara was arrested and charged with felony batter resulting in substantial bodily harm and conspiracy to commit battery after being involved in a fight with another man on the night before the Pro Bowl.
