Drew Brees liked what he saw when the New Orleans Saints returned to work on Wednesday to begin preparing for Sunday’s key NFC South matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Taking the practice field for the first time since their mistake-filled 35-22 setback to the Baltimore Ravens three days earlier, the Saints quarterback noticed some spunk in the bunch with two big road games coming up — starting with the Bucs.
“Everybody’s a little salty after that loss,” Brees noted.
