Update midsommar - nc17 version theaters 08/30/19 (2 Viewers)

for some reason, i am obsessed with this movie.

I haven't seen it yet. I haven't decided if I want to though. I've never been into gore or horror movies. I do enjoy sci-fi flicks tho. Since you're recommending it so highly, I'm intrigued tbh.

i pre-ordered it a month ago.

I kept meaning to see Midsommar but something always came up.

I mentioned I loved Hereditary early in the thread.

Is it really torture porn?

Because I hate that Eli Roth "Hostile" garbage.
it isn't torture porn so much as it is weird. it is hard to explain. only one scene as well.

To be fair, the first Hostel movie was original though I thought the torture scenes crossed the line.

I'm more of a supernatural or psychological horror fan.

i haven't seen hostel. i like movies that aren't just gore. i like my horrors like i like my porn, some plausible storyline.

I'm the same.

The first Hostel did have a good storyline, but like I said, Eli crossed into torture porn.

I hate the Saw movies too.

There is such thing as porn that has some plausible storylines? I had no idea.

:hihi:

Speaking of clowns, I'm looking forward to the second "It".

The first was well done.

Pennywise rocks.

Yep, my beer is kicking in.
i already purchased a ticket for thursday. i love the original with tim curry, loved the remake part 1, and read the book. it (lol no pun) fascinates me.

i had a debbie does dallas shirt i would wear all of the time until my wife got tired of it and threw away when i wasn't home. :(

She did the right thing.

It was time to let Debbie go.

Though I know it was hard on (yeah, I meant that) you.
