Bushrod, a fourth-round draft pick in 2007, said he hopes to return for the next game on Oct. 18 against the New York Giants. The Saints have a bye after Sunday’s game.
“I’ll probably rest it this week and get through the bye week, and hopefully be back and be healthy enough to play in the Giants game the way I want to play,” he said.
