On mike and mike this morning... Greenie said that he does not see a team in the NFC with a record of 9-7 getting left out of the playoffs... he said he looked at the games and upcoming opponents... and said from what he can tell... 9-7 will be good enough to make the playoffs in the NFC

I heard that too but I'm not sure I agree. I can see New York and Carolina going 3-1 the rest of the way, and Minnesota has 4 very winnable games left (@ Detroit, vs. NYJ, @ GB, vs. STL) and could easily run the table to get to 9-7 as well. One of them (or, God forbid, one of the teams currently at 8-4) could then be left out at 9-7.
