I am not trying to be Mr. Negative here, but if we could get our high school students up to par, or at least around 35th in the nations with grades, we would be number one by a large margin. Many of our grads. can't make the grade for D-1 football. I am proud of my state, but we could be so much better.

I for one agree parents push their kids to do well in sports in hope of them amking millions one but while their kids can barely read a entire paragraph
