IMHO, it is the best draft guide in the business. Best analysis going and ALWAYS much more topical than the slick commercial stuff that has to go to press months before they are sold.

You can't say it's not an honest effort, as up to date as you can find. I have recommended it to some fans of other teams who are now regular subscribers.

It's only 20 bucks, but I think it's worth more. I've gotten in the past few years and I really look forward to it now. It's a great read. Too bad it's difficult for Mike to market it towards other fans b/c it's a great draft overview- much better than the bland national guides. It's also a nice reference when free agents b/c available to look up their info coming out of college.

Actually, the way to do that would be to make the book a "Secure Mobipocket".

A book like that has a specific DRM that cannot be copied and given away freely to anyone. Several different kinds of PDAs and eReaders could read it as could anyone with a computer (Mobipocket reader is a free download). But, it could only be read by the party that actually pays for it. Very cool technology.

There are several different types of secure formats that it could be done in, including "Secure PDF", but Mobipocket has the widest audience right now.

The cool thing is that this could all be done for free. Free software called Mobipocket Creator Publisher will take text, Word, or pdf (and a few other formats) and create that "Secure Mobipocket" eBook. Very easy to do.

It might even open up a new market for Mike. The ONLY draft guide available as an eBook.

That's pretty sweet, but I have always been curious as to why no http://www.mikedetillier.com with Insider access? You can disable the "right-click" function to prevent copy and pasting. It wouldn't have to be a complicated website, just a simple database. IMO, the more simple the website, the more legitimate it looks. A guy like Mike doesn't need the flashy graphics because the content stands alone. These days everyone knows someone who is pretty fair at creating websites.
