The SEC is the best conference in college football.
It has many of the top coaches and assistants, but it also has the highest talent level.
Like a diet, what you put in is what you get out and from year to year you may see a conference have a better upper-tier of teams, but consistently no conference produces more pro players than the SEC.
In the 2017 draft the SEC produced 53 players the most of any conference in college football.
The ACC had 43 players selected, the PAC 12 had 36 players selected, the Big 10 had 35 players picked and the Big 12 had 14 players picked in the 2017 NFL draft class.
In the 2018 NFL draft the SEC again led the pack in producing drafted players with 53 players picked, 10 going in Round 1 and 11 players picked in Round 2.
