I hope the pass rushers don't come off the board that quick. Ansah was almost our last option.

If he isn't part of the problem, he is part of the Ansah.

I'll take him, a few others id prefer, but he has potential.

I wouldn't mind ansah..but he's not my first choice. I hope we can draft someone else, he looks too much of a project to me

From what ive read FO's arent really blown away by this group of outside passrushers. I have a feeling there will be a couple there when we pick.

Don't see Ziggy Ansah as a 3-4 OLB. After watching a few of his games, he looks much better suited to play with his hand on the ground.

That said, not a bad pick but not an ideal scenario.

I think he could develop into a hand in the dirt guy. Right now he is at his best out is space. Which is why the Lions staff played him so wide in the senior bowl.....hence why he dominated.

I'd be inclined to drop back a little in that scenario, say mid 20's.
Me too. I'd drop and draft Alex Okafor, S Johnathan Cyprien. I think they'd be better value there than Ansah at 15. Heck, he just might still be there in the 20's, and then we could take him there. I like Ziggy, but dont love him as much as a lot us do.

I think he'd be a great 43 DE, but I have serious doubts that he can be a 34 OLB.

Ansah has bust written all over him.

A one year wonder, with tons of athletic ability. He either had a great game in 2012 or he had a horrible one. Way to inconsistent and he's only been playin football for 3 years.

He reminds me of Vernon Gholston.

Or he could be the next JPP of the Giants. Their stories are very similar.

As of right now its all projection. U could very well be 100% correct or completely wrong.

Right now people are just hoping his athletic ability translates into great football play.

Watching him though...he seems to have some natural football instincts. Just sooooo so raw tho.

I dont see Gholston tho. He played soft and his tape proved it.

Ansah loves the physicality.

People are stuck on Ansah. He was the sexy pick when the Saints were a 4-3 DE trying to find their 4-3 DE. NOT ANYMORE. The Saints are a 3-4 now and Ansah doesn't make near as much sense.
