Drafting Jenkins is seemingly a distinct possibility for New Orleans at No. 10 if Leodis McKelvin is off the board. Aqib Talib and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie also could go there if the Saints are intent on taking a cornerback. It's unclear whether Talib's marijuana revelation will affect his stock. | 4/9/2008 7:29:00 PM

how would everyone feel

For some reason Mike Jenkins isn't getting any hype. He is one of the best, if not the best pure man/ bump and run corner in the draft.

I would still prefer Leodis Mckelvin over Jenkins. I actually like Mike Jenkins over DRC though.

If Ellis or Dorsey are gone, then I wouldn't mind Jenkins, DRC, Rivers or Mckelvin. As long as we don't draft a qb I'd pretty much be happy with anything. I'm gonna put it in the hands of Loomis and SP and let them drive this baby to a Championship!!!!!

I'd say that if Dorsey, Ellis, or Golston are gone then I think we'd probably go CB in round one and LB in round 2 with DT in the third. If that were to be the case, then I'd say it's between McKelvin, Jenkins, DRC and Rivers and I'd be happy with any of them.

wont happen... you can plug any eligle CB in at 10 for the Saints... that's what the experts think... they know we need a CB. I've seen where the Saints "really like" Mike Jenkins, Talib, Leodis, and DRC... everything you see/hear during this time is either speculation from an "expert", or smoke coming from teams that don't want to "tip their hands"...

I'm to the point now where I'm willing to ignore the speculation, and just wait until draft day..

welcome to the club buddy... haven't looked at a mock since february, the only fact about the draft thus far is the Dolphins are interested in Jake Long

Kiper did say last night that Jenkins was the safest pick of all the CB's.

I would say Antoine Cason is the safest pick at CB.

Cason is not even close to the talent Jenkins,McKelvin, and RDC is. going to be a good 3-4 years before the Saints get any production out of him outside of being a return specialist if they would draft him. Saints looking for corners that can play now.
