Still in vogue to completely trash an injured Saint, I see. People were only too happy to create and believe every negative narrative when Kamara was injured, too.
Y'all come off like spoiled children who can't have your favourite toys.
Sometimes injuries happen and recovery is needed. Even if the recovery could have been handled better by any of the parties involved, it's a grueling time physically and mentally to work your way back. The sniping, bellyaching and casting down of your idols isn't going to help any of that.
This post is absolutely absurd.
Nobody is upset at MT for being injured or needing time to recover.
If you've been following the offseason MT injury situation then you could absolutely understand why fans are upset. MT/ the Saints organization knew at the end of last year surgery was needed to be performed during the offseason to have him healthy by training camp. MT even saw a specialist that confirmed this diagnosis. MT then skipped out on his 2nd appointment with the specialist and ignored the entire saints FO all offseason and showed up to training camp still injured.
That's why coach SP was clearly and visibility so upset and vocal about his frustrations with MT. Do you think he was upset for no reason???
It was an absolutely ridiculous and selfish decision on MT's part. Don't forget the Saints couldn't afford our #2 receiver in Sanders and let our starting TE go as well. Now let's throw in our HOF QB retiring leaving a huge leadership hole in our offense where you would expect our highest paid, top 5 WR to step up and help fill that role. NOPE. Instead here we are week 7 with a new QB, practice squad WR's, with no ready date yet for MT.
It's OKAY to be upset with MT.
